Ownership/Affiliations.
The business name "World Class Travel and Tours" is a registered trade name with the State of Louisiana. The company is owned by J. Ernest "Sunny" Breeding, Jr. and Rebecca D. Breeding. We are members (either as an individual, agency, or both) of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA), and the consortium Vacation.com. For the peace of mind of our clients we participate in the Customer Assistance Program of the Better Business Bureau. You may check on the record of our company with the Better Business Bureau of Greater New Orleans. From 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Central Time Monday through Friday call: 800-528-9298. An automated phone response is available 24 hours each day at: 504-581-6222. You will be asked to enter one of our phone numbers which are shown below. We are also members of the Greater Slidell Area Chamber of Commerce. We carry $1,000,000 in Errors and Omissions Insurance with the Berkely Group.

Additionally, it is the only way to see first hand some incredibly beautiful sights scattered around our planet. It is our pleasure to share these experiences by helping you plan your travels.

Why use a Travel Consultant/Agent?
There are a number of good reasons for using only travel consultants to book your travel. Only a travel professional can offer you the full range of tours and cruises available through tour operators and cruise lines, and properly guide you in planning the best vacation for your expectations and budget. Also, our services for booking tours and cruises are free, and you do not have to worry about making the arrangements. But did you know that we can often save you money? By working with the best tour operators and cruise lines we can offer you packages that can cost significantly less than the sum of the items (air, hotel, car, etc.) purchased separately. Many tour operators sell only through travel agents. So it is always wise to check with a travel professional before purchasing what is advertised as a good travel deal from a company whose primary business is other than travel.

We use only tour operators that we have personally selected because of their reputation for offering quality tours at a value price. We prefer to use tour operators at each destination that know what is on and off the beaten path. Tours (packages) range from the fully escorted kind to those where you are entirely on your own. We also book cruises, and we offer group rates to individuals on selected cruises.
Our Backgrounds
We got into the travel
businesses in April 1994 after developing successful careers in other
fields. We chose this business because of our love of travel and the enjoyment
we get from learning about other cultures, both past and present, and the
opportunity to see first hand some incredible works of both man and mother
nature. A brief summary of our backgrounds follows.

Rebecca D. Breeding
In college Rebecca majored in mathematics with a minor in physics. She graduated with a B.S. from the University of Richmond in Virginia. For most of her career Rebecca has worked in the field of data processing in both technical and managerial positions. She is currently employed by International Business Machines, Inc. (IBM).
J. Ernest "Sunny" Breeding, Jr., Ph.D.

Research. Have conducted research at the Naval Coastal Systems Center, Panama City, FL (1962 - 1978); Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, Palisades, NY (1965 - 1970); Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL (1977 - 1979); Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech), Melbourne, FL (1979 - 1987); Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS (1988); and Naval Research Laboratory, Stennis Space Center, MS (1988 - March 31, 1998).

Teaching. Have taught at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, Graduate Teaching Assistantship (1960 - 1961); Florida state University, Tallahassee, FL, Visiting Associate Professor of Oceanography (1977 - 1979); and Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech), Melbourne, FL, Associate Professor of Oceanography and Ocean Engineering (1979 - 1987). Courses taught include graduate and undergraduate courses on subjects in physics, geophysics, physical oceanography, ocean engineering, and mathematical methods of physics.
Published papers. Have prepared technical
laboratory reports and published papers in society proceedings and refereed
journals.
Professional societies. Have membership in the following societies: American Geophysical Union, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, American Meteorological Society, American Association of Physics Teachers, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi (honorary), and Sigma Pi Sigma (honorary).
